seminar: On the Lenstra constant associated to continued fractions
speaker: Hitoshi Nakada (Keio University)abstract: We give a theoretical proof of the equality of the Legendre constant and the Lenstra constant for the regular continued fractions . This method is applicable to Rosen continued fractions associated to the Hecke group. In this way, we can determine the Legndre constant for Rosen continued fraction by the Lenstra constant.
