seminar: The number of measures of maximal entropy for surface diffeomorphisms
speaker: Omri Sarig (Weizmann Institute of Science)abstract: We show that every topologically transitive C-infinity surface diffeomorphism with positive topological entropy has exactly one measure of maximal entropy. Existence is due to Newhouse (1989), our contribution is uniqueness. (Joint work with Jerome Buzzi and Sylvain Crovisier)
