JUNIOR VISITING POSITIONS 2007-2008

Announcement

Three junior visiting positions will be available at the De Giorgi Center for the academic year 2007-2008:

Lizzanello Junior Visiting Position, partially supported by the town of Lizzanello.

CariLucca - SNS Junior Visiting Position, partially supported by the "Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca".

Emma e Giovanni Sansone Junior Visiting Position, partially supported by the "Fondazione Emma e Giovanni Sansone".

Appointments will be made initially for one year, with the possibility of an extension for a second year. The visit is expected to begin not later than October 2007.

Each visiting position carries a salary of 25.000 Euro plus a research grant of 5.000 Euro per annum. The visitor is requested to actively participate in the scientific life of the Center and possibly to give a series of seminars.

At the time of application applicants should be no more than 34 years old and within five years of their PhD.

Application Procedure Each application should include:

- Curriculum vitae - Up-to-date biodata - Full list of publications - Two letters of recommendation (to be sent separately by the applicant's supervisor or senior mathematician)
