seminar: Khasminski-Whitham averaging for randomly perturbed KdV equation

abstract: I will discuss a theorem which justifies (the Whitham) averaging for random perturbation of the KdV equation. The theorem may be regarded as an infinite-dimensional version of the averaging theorem for a randomly perturbed finite-dimensional integrrable system, stated by Khasminski and proved in details by Freidlin.
