seminar: Markov solutions and their properties for the stochastic 3D Navier-Stokes equations
speaker: Marco Romito (Università di Pisa)abstract: Well-posedness of the 3D Navier-Stokes equations is a well known open problem. It is reasonable, and sometimes useful, to consider solutions with additional properties. We focus on solutions to the stochastic equations which are Markov processes and explain some interesting consequences of this result. Joint work with F. Flandoli (Pisa).
