Mathematical Problems in Fluid-Structure Interaction
speaker: Giovanni Paolo Galdi (University of Pittsburgh)abstract: In this talk I shall present some recent results in the mathematical theory of fluid-solid interaction, where the fluid is modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations while the constitutive equuation of the solid is that of a St Venant-Kirchhoff nonlinear material.
