seminar: Renormalizations and robust rigidity for critical circle maps
speaker: Konstantin Khanin (Department of Mathematics, University of Toronto)abstract: In this talk we shall prove that two analytical critical circle maps are C1-conjugate provided that they have the same irrational rotation number and the same order of their critical points. It is important that C1-rigidity holds for all irrational rotations. We call this phenomenon robust rigidity.
