seminar: Bruno Functions: historical approach
speaker: Pierre Moussa (CEA Saclay)abstract: In his classical work, Yoccoz introduced a function which is bounded whenever the Bruno condition is satisfied. This function was named later "Bruno function''. We will describe its arithmetical properties, its link with geometrical renormalisation, and some aspects of its complexification. In a spirit which comes from theoretical physics, we will explain in which sense its singular behaviour is universal
