BV-continuity of vector rate independent operators
speaker: Vincenzo Recupero (Dipartimento di Matematica, Politecnico di Torino)abstract: We characterize those independent operators R: Lip(0,T;H) -> Lip(0,T;H) which admits a continuous extension to the space BV(0,T;H), where H is a Hilbert space and BV is endowed with the strict topology. We present an application to a class of evolution variational inequalities and we discuss the case when H is metric space.
