Extremal Kaehler Metrics and Kaehler-Ricci Flow

seminar: Free pre-potentials for hyper-Kaehler structures and other Grassmann structures

abstract: We are going to describe how the local isometry classes of hyper-Kaehler metrics or, more generally, of a certain family of Grassmann structures are completely determined by certain arbitrary functions, called pre-potentials, which are analogues of the potentials for Kaehler metrics. The result originates from some ideas of the physicist V. I. Ogievietsky and his collaborators and it is part of a joint project with D. V. Alekseevsky and Ch. Devchand.
