An application of Q-curvature to an embedding of critical type

abstract: We will briefly discuss the critical embedding of Trudinger, Moser and Adams of H^m₀(Omega) into Orlicz spaces and show a concentration-compactness result for critical points of such embedding. Quite interestingly, the proof of this result relies on the properties of conformal metrics on R^2m having constant Q-curvature, which we shall also discuss.
