Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation and Vortex Dynamics

abstract: I'll present some recent work with V. Banica on the stability of the selfsimilar solutions of Localized Induction Equation for the evolution of a vortex filament. The result is based on some scattering properties of a time dependent perturbation of the 1d cubic NLS.
