On some problems in spectral optimization
speaker: Giuseppe Buttazzo (Dipartimento di Matematica, Università di Pisa)abstract: We consider shape optimization problems of the form $$\min\Big\{F(\Omega)\ :\ \Omega\subset D\Big\}$$ where the cost functional $F(\Omega)$ is related to the spectrum of the Dirichlet-Laplacian on $\Omega$. Existence results, first order necessary conditions of optimality, and open questions will be discussed.
