Control of Many Body Quantum Systems
speaker: Simone Montangero (Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa)abstract: We explore the ultimate limits of optimal control of many body quantum systems studying different cases ranging from the information transfer along a chain to the creations of defects across a quantum phase transition. We introduce a new technique to control the time evolution of many body quantum systems combining tensor network methods (tDMRG, TEBD) and optimization techniques.
