MAY WORKSHOP: Infinite families of simple polytopes and of simplicial complexes with applications to toric topology

abstract: We construct infinite families of simple polyopes associated to a given one as well as infinite families of abstract simplicial complexes associated with a given one. We will give some applications to toric topology.
