MAY WORKSHOP: In finite families of simple polytopes and of simplicial complexes with applications to toric topology
speaker: Samuel Gitler (Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados (Cinvestav) del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), Mexico)abstract: We construct infinite families of simple polyopes associated to a given one as well as infinite families of abstract simplicial complexes associated with a given one. We will give some applications to toric topology.
