MAY WORKSHOP: From conguration spaces to moduli space - from braid to mapping class groups

abstract: There are naturally dened homomorphisms between braid groups, mapping class groups, symmetric groups and automorphisms of free groups, mainly coming from geometry. We will describe these maps in (stable) homology.
