YOUNG SEMINAR: Toric arrangements and their wonderful models
speaker: Luca Moci (Université Paris 7)abstract: In the first part of the talk we introduce toric arrangements. By looking at some examples we show analogies and differences with hyperplane arrangements.
Then we outline the construction of wonderful model for toric arrangements. This model has a precise combinatorial and geometrical description, similar to the one known for hyperplane arrangements.
