abstract: Riesz transforms on the Iwasawa NA subgroup of SL(3,C)

We shall report on joint work in progress with Garth Gaudry and Peter Sjögren. We consider first and second order Riesz transforms on the Iwasawa NA group in G = SL(3, C). More precisely we investigate the integrability at infinity of their convolution kernels. The results are significantly different from the rank one case studied before.
