Estimates for overdetermined Radon transforms
speaker: Allan Greenleaf (University of Rochester)abstract: I will discuss Lebesgue space estimates for averaging operators associated with variable families of curves or surfaces. In the plane, there are several different types of results, each extending a theorem of Ricci and Travaglini concerning all Euclidian motions of a convex curve in a different way. Some extensions to higher dimensions will also be considered. This is joint work with L. Brandolini and G. Travaglini.
