Dispersive estimates and applications

speaker: Herbert Koch (to be confirmed) (Universität Bonn)

abstract: Strichartz estimates for dispersive equations and related bounds for Fourier integral operators are a crucial tool in a varity of problems like well-posedness for nonlinear dispersive equations, bounds for spectral projections, absence of postive eigenvalues and Carleman inequalities. In the talks I explain a natural variable coefficient setting for dispersive estimates, the sketch of their proof and applications to spectral projections.
