seminar: Mixing for infinite measure preserving systems
speaker: Dalia Terhesiu (Universiteit Leiden )abstract: While the notion of mixing for probability measure preserving systems is well understood, there exist no definition of mixing that applies to general infinite measure preserving systems. We will talk about recent results on the asymptotic behaviour of the transfer operator associated with a large class of infinite measure preserving systems (including interval maps with indifferent fixed points). In this sense we provide a satisfactory definition of mixing for a large class of infinite measure preserving systems.
