Analytic aspects of function field arithmetic (30')
speaker: Zeev Rudnick (Tel Aviv University)abstract: I will discuss function field versions of various problems in analytic number theory. Among these are analogues of conjectures concerning the variance of the number of primes in short intervals (Goldston and Montgomery) and in arithmetic progressions (Hooley) and Chowla's conjecture on the autocorrelation of the Mobius function
