Arithmetic geometry on toric varieties (30')
speaker: Patrice Philippon (Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu, CNRS)abstract: Toric varieties are compactifications of multiplicative torii. We add several items to the well known dictionary between the geometry of those varieties on one side and convex geometry and analysis on the other side. These new objects reflect the arithmetic geometry of metrized divisors and related quantities. This is a joint work with J.Burgos and M.Sombra.
