course: Radon-like tranforms, the Heisenberg group, and discrete analogues

abstract: The Heisenberg group gives a natural realization of the Radon transform on odd-dimensional Euclidean spaces. Using this, one is lead to consider the realated Radon-like transforms--the singular Radon transform and the maximal Radon transform. In this connection we consider their discrete analogues and describe L² boundedness results obtained in collaboration with A.Magyar ans S.Wainger.
