Singular Radon transforms near L1

abstract: In joint work with A. Seeger and T. Tao, we consider translation-invariant singular Radon transforms supported along smooth hypersurfaces whose Gaussian curvature does not vanish to infinite order. We show that these operators map LloglogL into weak L1.
