Decomposition of one-dimensional currents
speaker: Emanuele Paolini (Università di Pisa)abstract: We will see how every one-dimensional normal current can be written as an integral over rectifiable curves and solenoids. The result, proven in the euclidean setting by Stanislav Smirnov is extended, with a new proof, to metric currents.
This is a joint work with Eugene Stepanov.
