abstract: We generalize a discrete-time quantum walk on a line by incorporating a nearest-neighbor interaction into the coin operator. Our proposed model shows an anomalous slow diffusion characterized by the porous medium equation (PME), and by the one-real-parameter extension of Gaussian, i.e., \(q\)-Gaussian with \(q\)=0.5.
