Multiplicity of the travelling waves in the Gross-Pitaevskii equation (Part II)

abstract: We shall be interested in the travelling waves for the Gross-Pitaevskii equation in space dimension two, which is a Nonlinear Schrödinger equation with non zero condition at infinity. A branch of solutions was found by Jones and Roberts and we shall discuss several theoretical results related to it. Then, we shall present numerical results showing the existence of many other branches of solutions for this problem.
