Minimal asymptotic translation in the curve complex
speaker: Aaron David Valdivia (Florida Southern College)abstract: Analogous to asymptotic bounds for minimal dilatations of psuedo-Anosov mapping classes, we find bounds for the asymptotic translation in the curve complex.
