The Logic of Decision

abstract: In this tutorial I will introduce Bolker-Jeffrey decision theory, contrast it (favourably) with subjective expected utility in the tradition of Ramsey and Savage, and develop extensions of it to chances and conditionals. Particular attention will be paid to Bolker's representation theory for averaging relations on Boolean algebras.
