seminar: Transversely Affine Foliations
speaker: Gael Cousin (Università di Pisa ( Post-doc))abstract: I will present a joint work with Jorge Vitório Pereira on transversely affine codimension one singular foliations on projective manifolds. Our main theorem takes the following form: If the first Betti number of the subjacent manifold vanishes, every such foliation is a finite quotient of a foliation given by a closed rational 1-form or is a rational pull-back of a Riccati foliation on a projective surface.
