Sequences in the mapping class group of surfaces via an induction process
speaker: Jérôme Los (CNRS, Aix-Marseille Université)abstract: The goal in this talk is to study classes of sequences in the mapping class group of surfaces and the convergence and/or divergence properties of these sequences acting in Teichmuller space. For this goal a natural induction process will be introduced, together with an acceleration that is valid for any surface in any « minimal direction".
