Deformations of nilpotent orbits
speaker: Ivan Loseu (Northeastern University)abstract: I will discuss several developments related to deformations of nilpotent orbits (and some covers of those) in a semisimple Lie algebra. This includes a stratification of the Lie algebra by birational sheets and a version of the orbit method for semisimple Lie algebras. The talk is based on arXiv:1605.00592.
