course: Brauer groups of K3 surfaces
speaker: Bert Van Geemen (Università di Milano)abstract: In these two talks I will discuss a Hodge theoretic approach towards the Brauer group of a K3 surface. The first lecture will discuss the basic facts about K3 surfaces (moduli, Torelli theorem and `surjectivity of the period map'), give various examples and introduce the Brauer group. In the second lecture I will discuss the Brauer group of an elliptic fibration.
