Ricci expanders coming out of metric cones
speaker: Alix Deruelle (Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu - Paris Rive Gauche )abstract: Existence of expanding self-similarities of a given evolution equation create an ambiguity in the continuation of the flow after it reached a first time singularity. We will survey various methods to prove the existence and uniqueness of such solutions in a Ricci flow setting.
