Finite perimeter sets on coverings and Plateau-type problems
speaker: Giovanni Bellettini (Università di Siena)abstract: I will describe how to use the theory of finite perimeter sets in order to give some solution to problems of Plateau type. Applications include the case of plane networks of minimal length, and minimal surfaces spanning a link in space. An approximation via Gamma convergence will also be discussed.
