Elastic energy for networks of curves in the plane
speaker: Alessandra Pluda (Università di Pisa)abstract: In this talk I will discuss the minimization of the elastic energy of planar networks of curves. I will focus mainly on the case of networks composed by three curves with a shape of a double cell showing an existence result of the minima. If remains time I will present the derivation of the \(L^2\) gradient flow of the elastic energy for the same problem.
