course: The Q-curvature equation

abstract: There is a family of higher order conformally covariant operators generalizing the conformal Laplacian. These operators define higher order curvature invariants that play a role in the analysis and geometry of conformal structures. In this talk, I shall give a survey of the fourth order Paneitz equations in low dimensions, particularly in three and four dimensions.
