On chamber counting formula for conic-line arrangements
speaker: David Garber (Department of Applied Mathematics, Holon Institute of Technology,)abstract: In this talk, we start by presenting Zaslavsky's well-known deletion-restriction chamber counting formula, and then we present its generalization for the case of conic-line arrangements. We conclude the talk by remarks on possible connections to other restriction-deletion formulas. This is joint work with Michael Friedman.
