course: Toric spaces associated with nonrational, nonsimple convex polytopes

abstract: In correspondence to each nonsimple convex polytope, rational or not, we construct a family of spaces, from the symplectic and complex viewpoint. These spaces provide a natural generalization of the notion of toric variety associated to a rational convex polytope.
