course: Reduction of nearly-Kaehler 6-manifolds

abstract: I shall discuss several contexts, all in the presence of a special kind of symmetry, when it is possible to perform a double reduction of a 6-dimensional nearly-Kaehler manifold. Some details of the resulting 4-dimensional geometry will be given.
