Lozenge tilings of non-convex regions and asymptotic fluctuations : a new universality class
speaker: Pierre Van Moerbeke (Université Catholique de Louvain)abstract: Tilings of polygonal regions having two opposite non-convexities (cuts) lead to a new kernel and a new statistics for the asymptotic fluctuations, when the size of the region and the cuts gets large under an appropriate scaling. The limiting statistics has been observed in very different circumstances.
