Limit laws along subsequences for null recurrent renewal shifts

abstract: In the first part of the talk, I will recall some classical limit laws (including mixing) along the full sequence. In the second part, I will talk about limit laws along subsequences focusing on an analogue of the Darling Kac law (including properties of the limit distribution) and a Karamata type theorem. The latter is based on joint work with P. Kevei.
