Heat and entropy flows in Carnot groups

abstract: Carnot groups are an interesting and rich family of sub-Riemannian manifolds that do not enjoy the so-called CD property, in the sense that the entropy is not K-convex along Wasserstein geodesics. Nevertheless, in these metric measure spaces, the heat flow and the Wasserstein-metric flow of the entropy coincide. In this talk, I will present the fundamental steps of the proof of this correspondence. This is a joint work with L. Ambrosio
