seminar: On Manin's conjecture for singular del Pezzo surfaces

abstract: The conjecture in the title relates the asymptotic distribution of rational points of bounded height on Fano varieties to their geometry. I will outline the state of affairs in dimension 2, culminating in a discussion of recent joint work with Regis de la Breteche and Ulrich Derenthal.
