Registering clustering profiles of rare events for chaotic systems

abstract: We consider stochastic processes arising from chaotic dynamical systems and build multidimensional point processes, decorated with bi-infinite sequences providing a nice description of the clustering profile of rare events, which can then be applied to study records of observations or ergodic sums of heavy tailed observables.
