Mini course: Introduction to the geometry of Lie groups
speaker: Yves Cornulier (CNRS-Université Lyon 1)abstract: I will present geometry of Lie groups, with a view oriented towards quasi-isometry classification. This will include general basics on large-scale geometry of metric spaces. I will then notably focus on the class of groups of polynomial growth.
