Combinatorial Algebraic Topology and Applications

A small combinatorial model for the homology spectral sequence for long knots

speaker: Paolo Salvatore (Università di Roma Tor Vergata)

abstract: The Sinha spectral sequence computing the homology of the space of long knots is induced by a bi-complex structure on chain complexes of euclidean configuration spaces. We deform it to a combinatorial multi-complex structure on Salvetti chain complexes for configuration spaces. This allows explicit computations in the spectral sequence. This is joint work with Andrea Marino.
