A pair of small aspherical 4-manifolds
speaker: Bruno Martelli (Università di Pisa)abstract: We describe a pair of "small" aspherical 4-manifolds with curious properties. One is a cusped hyperbolic 4-manifold, that is the complement of a nice collection of 5 tori in the 4-sphere. The other is not hyperbolic, and is the fiber of a fibration of a hyperbolic 5-manifold onto the circle.
